Leon Calverley
Door4 was Leon’s baby, some 13 years ago. Despite still being asked for ID in Sainsburys, he is now getting on a bit.
Having begun life ‘on tools’ as they say, Leon now manages the commercial and new business side of the company. With a large team, this is no mean feat.
Leon’s relevant academic qualification is a BSc Hons in Building Surveying from the University of Salford. He understands how to specify foundation types for all manner of construction types – but can’t remember why he followed that particular path.
A keen runner, badminton player, skiier (neither of the last three have seen light of day in months), Leon can often be found buried in Smashing Magazine or Mashable. Either that, or choosing a new typeface for the Door4 2014 identity.
