Conversion optimisation is driving website users to a sale, enquiry, form submission, subscription, phone call or email… it’s about making them DO something, rather than being a “passive looker.”

Having a website that has a lot of traffic/users viewing it is one thing. Getting those users to buy a product/submit a form/call your number is another.

Conversion optimisation is the second part of a website optimsation plan (part 1 is getting the user traffic to your website). It is just as important, however, since there is no point in having lots of users visiting your website and not converting to a sale or contact.

What we do to improve conversion?

Conversion Optimisation begins with analysis and review of your websites analytics.

This is looking for user trends, bounce rate analysis and high abandonment rates at particular stages of contact form or sales processes.

We review landing pages from search engines and other high traffic sources for call to actions and display marketing. What does an average user see when they land on your site? What is telling them to buy something or call a number, etc?

We identify the areas for improvement on your site and then implement the changes in-house. We have a team of expert website designers who can edit and add content and features to any website. We also have in-house graphic designers who can design advertisements and images for display marketing on your website.

If requested we can use Google Website optimiser to display different versions of your webpages to different visitors (A/B or multivariate testing). This can have the same webpage theme but with different call to actions on each page.  Google sends half the search engine results traffic to one page and half to the other. The results show us how successful the call to actions and display marekting are, i.e. what images, text and site layout drives the most conversions.
