Website Designer

We are looking for a creative, and technically proficient website designer to join our team here at Door4.

The ideal candidate will have strong HTML/CSS skills, an un-natural attention to detail in typography, and the ability to generate quick visual concepts that impress even the most cynical client.

We need an individual that's a keen self-stater, committed to producing quality work, and eager to produce output. We offer a relaxed, friendly studio environment.

We're not picky about your choice of software, we are more concerned with what comes out of the other end. Similarly, you know if you're a good web designer, so we won't give you a hundred point bullet list.

Core skills include:

• ability to produce the highest quality CSS/XHTML quickly, to modern web standards
• keen graphic/imagery skills
• punctuality and teamwork
• understanding of the business motivations of clients

Ideally, you will also tick these boxes

• knowledge of, and skills in Flash/Actionscript
• understanding of PHP/ASP
• understanding of SEO principles

The role is based at our Nelson studio.

We offer a generous package which is negotiable based on skills and experience.
